Tournament Rules
1. Bowlers must bowl with the people from the same night as you bowled on in the fall. (i.e. Bowlers from the Tuesday House can bowl with Tuesday Shootout bowlers; bowlers from the Thursday Elk’s Men league can bowl with 3 Man Major bowlers). Teams consist of 5 bowlers. For 3 or 4 person leagues, you may pick up other people from the same league – with 21 or more games – to fill out your team.
2. Team event will guarantee $1000 for 1st, $750 for 2nd, & $500 for 3rd. Any more spots will depend on entries.
3. Bowlers must have 21 or more games in the league they’re bowling with to bowl.
4. Bowlers will use the average from the league that they are bowling with.
5. Handicap is 90% of 230.
6. Team event is $25. That is the only thing that is mandatory. Doubles and singles are optional to do each time you bowl. Doubles is $10 per team ($5 per person), Singles is $5. ALL MONEY GOES TO THE PRIZE FUND, NO LINEAGE FEE!
7. Bowlers can cash as many times as possible in doubles, however, BOWLERS CAN’T CASH WITH THE SAME PARTNER TWICE.
8. Bowlers can’t bowl doubles with someone bowling the tournament on a different night. (i.e. John Smith can’t bowl on Monday and bowl doubles with Jane Doe who bowls on Tuesday).
9. Bowlers can only cash once in singles. Bowlers will be allowed to get in as many times as they wish for singles, but can only use their highest score for cashing.
10. The tournament runs May 9th - May 22nd, with squads at 6:30PM on Monday – Thursday, 7:00PM on Friday, 6:00PM on Saturday and Sunday. There will also be day squads on Thursday, May 12th at 10:00AM and Friday, May 13th at 10:00AM.
11. Money collected from house mystery will be added to the team event’s prize fund.
12. Payout is Wednesday, May 25th at 4:00PM. Bowlers can come anytime after that to pick up the money.
